Thread: Shave Ready 5/8 Dubl Duck Goldedge square point.

On offer today is this near-mint 1970’s(?) Dubl Duck Goldedge. I’ve done no resotration to it other than to hone it with a single layer of tape. In doing that, I probably put more wear on it than it’d previously experienced. My guess is someone bought it, tried to shave with the factory edge, then never used it again.

It has a few small blemishes on the blade but is no worse than my Robert Williams SRP razor.

And yes, I realize that the pile-side tang picture is slightly out of focus. If that’s important to anyone’s decision, I’m happy to take another one. I’d already put away my light box and, honestly, it didn’t seem that important.

I should add, the downside of buying a razor that Zak has honed is that it makes all the ones that I hone seem as sharp as butter knives
