Default (SOLD) REX Ambassador Adjustable DE

    Gentlemen,

The REX Ambassador adjustable stainless steel double edge razor is a great shaver. Unfortunately, it is a wee bit heavy for my arthritic hands. Also, even on the lower settings, the blade feel is a little more than I like. My ideal shavers are the RAW RS-10, Paradigm SE and OneBlade Genesis, and I think I will stay with them for now. Much has been written about the REX Ambassador's fit and finish, so I won't into that. The razor will make a fine Christmas present for yourself, or for someone you know. The price is $165 shipped U.S. Paypal is fine. No trades, please. Thanks.

It does look a bit on the heavy side. A fine DE that will last forever. GLWS.
    It's just Sharpening, right?

Arthritis makes straight razor shaving a wee bit difficult for me. That's why more and more I use safety razors that are in stainless steel or titanium and are on the lighter side in weight. For some, the REX Ambassador's weight will be a piece of cake. For me, however, the razor is a wee bit heavy. Either way, the REX is a superb shaver. The thing is built like a tank, a razor that will last forever. Good stuff.

If someone wants a truly fine razor in every respect this is a great opportunity.

I have one and it's my go to razor with a shave to almost equal a straight.

Right you are, Spendur. The shave is somewhat close to the straight. It is also a well balanced razor. I just wish it would work a wee better for me.
