Default (WITHDRAWN) Ralf Aust 6/8 in Spanish Point

    Gentlemen,
I recently purchased this handsome Ralf Aust 6/8 in Spanish point and plastic scales. Although it is a sweet razor and in mint condition — I've used it twice — it's redundant in the shave den. I already have a Wacker of almost similar characteristics, except for the addition of scales in horn. In the third photo, what appears as patina on the shank is actually a shadow. So I am letting the Aust go. The razor is shave ready, and is a superb shaver. Your price is $120 shipped U.S. Paypal is fine; no trades, please. Thanks.

Obie- Good decision to withdraw the offer. A well honed Ralf Aust in mint condition is never redundant in the shave den. I have a pair of Wackers 6/8" and 7/8" and a pair of Austs in similar sizes. I do not plan on letting either of them go until I can no longer shave myself.

I agree with you, Ray. In the end, I just could not part with it. So it will remain in the shave den lineup.

Yep, if I had the funds to spare, this would have been at the top of my list. It is a beautiful razor. Glad you will continue to enjoy it.

I love the point on that razor. Spanish and French points just look so much safer than some of the other options.

I saw the Wacker you mentioned. Also a very attractive razor.

    Enjoy them all.

Yep Obie if that’s the only RA you have I would keep it too, I don’t have many production made razors but the RA stays with me.
