GB ANCHOR razor - 9/8 - chunky blade for restoration project
Up for sale is a GB anchor razor in 9/8 width. I've had this razor for a couple of years in my drawer ready to be restored. As I don't find the time to restore it, I'm willing to part with it.
The razor was in bad condition, so a basic sanding was needed to reveal how bad the damage was. Turns out with a full regrind and restoration, this piece will turn out great.
You certainly end up with a 8/8+ razor, but maybe not full 9/8 anymore. Original scales were totally broken.
These razors are quite rare, so if you restore the razor and make scales, you have a big chunky cleaver for a fair price.
