Thread: MATCHED PAIR of 11/16 ACUTUS ‘Model 81’ Solingen Hollow Ground Razors, Ex. Condition!

Also for sale from my collection are two LIKE NEW (NOS, but subsequently honed) large, 13/16” wide ACUTUS ‘Model 81’ Solingen hollow ground razors with beautiful inlayed scales and their original boxes. These are German made razors, made from ‘Sheffield Silver Steel’ bought from Japan.

The edges, while likely still shave ready, may need a refresh as I have not used them for quite a while (they are of course clean, disinfected and have been stored carefully with camelia oil).

Asking price for BOTH razors is $260.00 USD. This INCLUDES tracked international courier from New Zealand (where I am located) which is approximately $50 USD in value.

Standard shipping is available, but it is not tracked and takes 7-21 working days on average to the USA (for example) so probably a lot longer now due to Coronavirus. I would be very reluctant to send these razors without tracking and would accept no liability if they were lost in transit, so I would not recommend that.
