    Default Henckels Twinworks (Withdrawn)

    Gentlemen,
Here is another razor from my modest collection, a Henckels Twinworks 6/8 that promises to be a favorite in your shave den. The razor is in excellent shape. The pins are tight and the blade closes center. It’s a handsome razor, and it is shave ready. The price includes U.S. shipping. $110

That’s a really nice razor Obie. Half hollow to boot. That particular model is not that common, but right up the on my favourites list.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, it quite a stellar razor. A fabulous shaver, too. Sadly, I am slowly walking away from the straight razor, because my ultra sensitive skin can no longer handle an aggressive shave.

Thanks, my friend. I will not give it up totally, of course. Now and then I'll try one pass and see how my skin feels. This way I will keep my skills sharp. Also, I will continue to hone razors for clients around town here. But the actual shave has to be limited. In fact, I have several aggressive safety razors and I have them up for sale, too. I have to go with the mild razors. At least, I can still shave daily.

Sorry for the skin sensitivity Obie. We always suspected you were a sensitive soul ..
I’ve been using safety razors more than straights since I smashed my finger tip the other year.
Will keep an eye out for them.

Thanks, Mike. For the most part, now I use my Feather AS-D2, Henson, and Henson razors. Also, I have the Claymore single edge, which I find mild and comfortable. I sold my Vector today — a wee bit too aggressive for me — and I am letting go of the Shield single edge and the RazoRock Hawk "A" for being too aggressive. Oh well, at least I can still shave daily.

At least you don't have to forebode shaving with straights altogether Obie! A spirit of adaptability, that's awesome.
