    That's terrible. To make the best of it I would suggest framing it and keeping it on your wall.

    I'd definitely keep the scales if it were me...they are beautiful and just SCREAM to be put onto a decent blade once you acquire one. Hell I bet you could sell them to one of us for a restoration project if you were so inclined to try and recoup some of your investment in the thing.

    I´m sorry for your loss man. That really hurts I know.


    There´s an "antique mall" in this area that has a couple vendors who sell straights as they find them. One of these vendors has a nice razor that looks to be about a 9/8 or better that has a similar break in the razors. Guess what he´s trying to sell it for?
