Thread: W&B razor case .......anyone?

I am new to the forum. I have been looking at some forums that talk a lot about Wade and Butcher and I kept ending up here. So I joined to ask about this.

I just picked up a W&B "The Celebrated Hollow Ground Razor For Barbers Use" at a new antiques and peddlers mall a few miles from my house for $25. Its pretty sweet especially since it is slightly over 8/8. No rust/dings or anything, just needs a bit of polish and honing. Anyway, I really want to get a Wade & Butcher Razor case for it. If anyone has one or knows where I can get one, please let me know.

Also If anyone knows a lot about John Heiffor and can help me figure out my other blade that would be awesome.
My Heiffor blade is etched with a 2-horse Roman chariot and soldier throwing a spear. Can't find anything else like it, and would really like to know more about it. I can't really find anything else about Heiffor beside his Army blades and the Worlds Fair Blade.

Welcome to SRP, Reboot. If you snagged an 8/8 WB FBU in good condition for $25, you need to turn yourself in to the authorities, because you stole it! Wish I vould help you with appropriate case-I could use some of those myself.

I assume you've seen what those big WB choppers are going for on the bay, right?

You definitely are a theft! $25 for a Wade & Butcher like that! I think I am going to call the police!!! :-)
The FBU is one of my looked for razor, years of failed attempts to buy one and you get it at just $25!
I guess you should at least post pictures!

How did I wind up in the prank section ???? 25 for a what ?? No way. I just got one pretty cheap too ! NOT THAT cheap. You can find a coffin on e-Bay or maybe someone here has an extra. I think most throw the case away and get to using the razor. If your not going to use it make a nice wooden case for it. Wait a minute who am I talking too ? It sounds like you know what your doing :<0)

We don't allow solicitations in forum posts/threads, but any member can post a WTB (want to buy) in the classifieds.
