Default 6 out of 7 day set

I got 6 Ambossmann razors off the ebay and I'm pretty excited about them. At first I wasn't sure I had made a good purchase but after examining the razors, I think once I add new scales to them I'll be glad I got them. They go from Monday through Saturday. They are pretty clean but can use a little polish.
They seem pretty darn sharp. They shave hair off my leg. I was going to send them out but I'm thinking I'll order some inexpensive Dovo scales and give it a shot. Current scales are plastic and two are broken and so my adventure continues.

Unless you have pinned razors before, you are better off having someone do it for you. It's a bit tricky to get them neat. It's even trickier to remove bad pins without gouging the scales.
One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.

    Thanks, Phrank!
eod7, I haven't pinned razors before but these scales are shot so I'm not too worried about gouging. I was considering using hex screws but I have not decided yet.

That's the kind of can-do attitude that got us out of caves and into space.

How very weird. I just bought a Solingen-made razor, "Souvenir of Berlin" on the blade and - ready - "Sunday" on the spine.

I bought the razor for it's own sake but hoped it would fill out someones set one day. I hadn't considered trying to find the other six.

Bah, In my excitement and having the ability to be easily distracted by shiny things, I forgot to ask if anyone had any info on the maker of the razors. I searched the wiki and forums and from what I can tell at one point Amboss Mann used to be made by Frauenzimmer, which my razors do not have the maker stamp.
So I am assuming that these razors came after that company made them and these may be some type of generic. If anyone could add to that it would be great. Thanks!
