I Won! Vintage Double Duck Goldedge!
Been looking for awhile, finally found one I like, won the auction for a Vintage Double Duck Goldedge 11/16!

Very nice!! Looks like you got a good one there. I also wanted a Dubl Duck for the longest time. Then I stumbled upon a big smiling Sheffy and fell in love. Those spike points and me don't get a long. Maybe down the road I'll change my mind and HAVE to have one of these. Again, nice blade!!

Congrats on the DD, I scored a regular one hand hammered tang from a local pawn for $12 but doesn't look near as nice and those square points will get you so watch it. Looks like a lot of the gold is still there, Nice!

Yea - bidding went nuts this morning, first time for using Ebay for me, so I set max bid not really knowing what it did (now I know), but came away with a reasonable price from what I've seen!

Looks as you made a good choice.
Yours looks much better! Aside from the wear on the blade and improper honing on the second one, see how the scales on yours are more white compared to the yellowish of the second one? Cell breaking down is suspect. Whiter, the better! Those shave great, although I cannot tell a difference between a Wonder, Gold, or #1! Good shavers!
