    Default stropping/honing a Japanese Kamisori (sp?)

    I have been away from here for awhile. In that time my best friend gave me a Kamisori for my 50th B-day. I have had it for a year, and want to freshen the edge a bit. How do I go about honing a one-sided blade? I have a couple of Barbers hones. Just not sure what technique, do I hone both sides? Or just the ground side?
