Thanked: 10My new vintage Spartacus Thiers Issard
Hi guys,
Here's my new aquisition, a Spartacus from Thiers Issard
After some cleaning with mainly Silvo (look at the green giant becoming a spartan)!
The blade a still some work to do on it but I dont want to mess it. Still som pits and tarnish but the bevel is clean and it honed like a charm.
Any tips for further cleaning? I don't want to sand it down and lose the writings on the blade.
Thanks!

Thanked: 4It looks great man, I usually dont do anymore than that on etched blades. You really end up spending a lot of time on just a little advancement or loosing the etching.
