Thread: Help with razor maker ID

I have had this razor for awhile and haven't found any information on the maker. The front of the tang shows a crane standing on one leg with a stylized MC Co. underneath, and under that is No.1. On the reverse MACDONALD & CO, SAN FRANSICO - NEW YORK. The razor appears to be unused and has a 5/8" blade. I am wondering if this one is American made or an import.
