Thanked: 634Wade and Butcher commerative question
Hi
Does anyone know if Wade and Butcher ever made a commerative razor for the U.S. Iowa which was in service in 1898.

I'm not sure the company ever found an event too small to commemorate with a razor.
There are multiple different designs stamped Wade & Butcher that commemorate the Spanish-American war and at least one of them has a battleship on it.-Zak Jarvis. Writer. Artist. Bon vivant.

Thanks again. I was watching one on e-bay. It was in new condition. I researched the picture on the blade and it appears to be the U.S. Iowa. Unfortunately I did not get it as it was out of my price range. It went for $130. I looked at BladeForums.com and saw a thread on one that was not in as good condition. In fact the owner said that he could not make out a clear view of the ship. Well anyway thanks again for your info.
