Union Cutlery Moravia Iowa
I found this to be unique. A 3 pin Spike from Moravia Iowa. Anyone ever see one like it?

Never, but it is a good looking razor. Simple and straight forward. How does it shave?

Yes, I have one of them and the steel is great! I believe they were private branded and made on the east coast.

Thanks, I haven't used it yet. It will need a light honing before use.

Very nice razor. If it is anything like the ones I have it will be a great shaver.

That IS interesting! 3 pins and stamped Iowa? I know the Union Cutlery that started in Union City, Georgia and moved to Olean, NY in 1910, makers of the KaBar USMC knife. It was renamed KaBar in 1958 and still exists today as a subsidiary of Cutco.
But Monrovia, Iowa? 3 pins usually means German???????
Nice Razor!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Could it be that Union Cutlery at some point in time had razors made in Solingen?

Union Razor and Union Cutlery? Two different companies? I have a razor from Monrovia somewhere. Need to find it!
