Thread: Razor seconds..? Like cigars

When I was in college I worked in a cigar store for many yrs.. Cigars that had slight imperfections but smoked well were known as seconds..?. They would come without labels and sold as a major brands seconds in quality.. Do razor companies do the same.... .?

I've seen Vintage Blades sell TI's with minor cosmetic defects at a significant discount but I have never seen true "generic" razors other than the crap you find on the Bay.

Most products you buy today are seconds containing imperfections of one sort or another that would never have been acceptable years ago. I have never seen new razors sold as seconds though.
