You might be able to find a Canadian supplier. I just did a quick google search and found this one in BC:
Metric Flat Head Socket Cap Screws (Hex Drive)
Looks like you could find something for about 5 cents each.
Maybe you could give Hart a call and find out the tech spec for the fastener (length, thread).
Maybe you could also enlighten them about the $36 charge for a 5 cent part....maybe they will
give you a break.
