Razor ID? Possibly "Bill & Ted's 'Excellent' Straight Razor"? ;-)
Here is another razor I've been working on (.. wire wheel/steel wool is not my handiwork as I'm using just leather and Flitz..) and wondering if someone knows the mark/maker. Searches using "Circle K Razor" and such have not brought anything up for me. The razor has a Circle K on one side and "Ground In Germany" on the other side of the tang. The blade is substantially heavy comparable to the Henckels or Kropps I've held and with the jimps top and bottom it seems like a quality blade. I'll be bevel setting tomorrow then honing Tuesday so won't get a chance to shave test for a day or two and thought I'd post up to see if anyone has any info.
For now, I'm just going to stick with the Bill & Ted thing and it goes something like this in my head...
(... scene fade-in to a dingy convenience store bathroom where Bill stands well lathered in front of the mirror and Ted stands nearby holding the key attached to a 1960's Cadillac hubcap which gently twists in an unseen wind...)
Ted: "Bruh, nice lather with that Gojo dust!"
Bill: "Yu-uh! Took me an hour to press handfuls into a cake but after that she lathered like a dream!"
Ted: "Sweet! What are you using for a brush?"
Bill: "Duuuh... Feather Roach Clip from the 80's!"
Ted: "Awe-huh-some! Hey, when is it my turn with that bad-boy 'Circle K Straight'?"
Bill: "One more AyeTeeGee then I'm BeeBeeEss, Brah!"
(.. both reach up for High Five and a resounding clap sounds..)
Bill & Ted Together: "EXCELLENT!"
(... scene fade-out as both fall into Air Guitar wizardry in Hair Band style...)
Thanks for any and all help/information!
Shawn

My google-fu and collection of online links has failed me. I have no idea.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
