    Red face A georgeus couple

    The razor I presente were lacated into a second and hyden box of an sheep desk dated about the end of 18th century, well you can see all in the photos, my questios are; who was OSBORN?, Wath can I do with the ivory?, I present the blades in the state I found them and obbiusly, are there any cleaning work I´ll would do?, an to finish, Wath date, aprox ?

    Those are a pretty sweet find. I have no idea as to any details of your razors. They look like they are in fantastic shape and need to be honed and shaved with. I'm envious of your find. Good luck and happy shaving

    any idea about the age, the short tail is an mistery for mi, mabe a subtailed?, the edge is compatible by an wedge or half a holow...well...wath do you think ?, I find an osborne in 1810-40Name:  754px-Im1839RobBir-Osborn.jpg

    Very nice razors, late 1800s? In those days tails were made shorter.

    With this tail I can not find another similar in the last years of the century, neither english, nor german or spanish, or american, I´m confused

    Based on the design of the blades, shape of the scales, I'm going to guess 1800-1810. The real expert historians will be along to give you a more positive estimate. Beautiful set !

    Beautiful razors indeed! I would not attempt to clean up or restore those, but keep them original and use them for what they were intended: shaving!
