Thread: Garythepenman Razors

This is a bit of a plug for Gary and the superb work that he's been doing recently, even whilst he was sick over Christmas.

I recently sent him 3 razors to be re-scaled with rare NZ indigenous woods, I now have them all back and I have to say each one is just a work of art - really nice.

Gary can do many types of wood but the 3 rare ones are (T-B) Kauri, Heart Rimu and Black Mairei.



I had one razor done in each wood, and here they are.

First up is a 7/8 Henckels Friodur in Kauri, made to a particular shape that I requested, perspex spacer.




Next is a 5/8 Boker King Cutter in Heart Rimu, perspex spacer.




And lastly is a Dubl Duck Satinedge in Black Mairei, brass spacer.




If anyone is looking at getting new scales then I recommend Gary very highly, his workmanship is superb and his pricing is very reasonable.
