Default I found a Michael Price yesterday - San Francisco straight razor

    Hello all,

I purchased a large lot of straight razors yesterday from a local Portland estate. In the group, I found this beauty that I wanted to share it with the group. I have put the Price razor on ebay (its up now) and will sell the others in my antique shop here in town. I thought the group would like the images as a reference.

    Thanks!

That's a nice looking razor. Good find! M. Price was in business, according to Goins', from about 1856 to 1889.

I'm curious - I've got one that appears identical, and one other in ivory. I was wondering what it brought you on Ebay. Thanks!

Surprised this thread got past the mods. A one time poster, in effect a "drive by seller" promoting an ebay listing, and in the wrong forum no less.

I'd be surprised if you get a reply from him, seeing that was the OP's one and only post, made over 3 months ago. Do a completed items search on M, Price razors and you might come up with something.
