I had one. Super-thin and shaved the dickens. I still have 2 in my to-do pile. One is a wedge! Burrell was the last of the Case family razor makers. He married one of the Case daughters. Interestingly, Burrell shared an address with Carl Monkhouse in Ellicotteville. Who Knows?

I'll bet that some road tripping throughout Northern PA and upstate NY would be fruitful! You know, hitting up yard-sales, consignment shops, and flea markets! I gotta get my A** in gear!

Yeah. Down here nobudy has a straight razor much. You can comb flea markets and antique stores and come up with overpriced junk. Folks down here have a throw-away mentality. Up there, they hang on to stuff. Attics are much older!

Your right Tom. The PA Dutch mentality is borderline hoarder! Long history of hard work up here. There's lots of good stuff in barns, basements, and old businesses. Good luck prying them out of the owners grandkids neighbors dead hands though! Lol!

Thanked: 1Thanks for the advice!!
Based on all Posts on SRP about this razor, I recently purchased a Burrell Top Flight. I am also originally from the Ellicottville, NY area so I also bought it for sentimental reasons. Shaves Great! I normally prefer a heavier straight blade, but the Burrell has great control and feel. I am beginning to collect and this was a great addition.

Awesome! I think you'd like W.R. Case and Genco razors as well. They're a pleasure to hone and use. Also check out the thread here about CMon Ellicottville relations. Interesting read.
