Just picked this up an an estate sale, anyone know anything about the maker? the second photo shows the makers name "White Diamond" Any help would be appreaciated.

Thanked: 1263Is there anything on the other side of the tang? Alot of old straights were made by distinguished makers but rebranded by hardware and department stores...this may be the case with yours.

Thanked: 1263Made in Germany but sold in Wayne MI...probably rebranded. If it's made in Germany it should be a fine razor. A closer/clearer pic of the blade might help determine the condition of the blade...is that rust on it? And if so does it follow the pattern of the shades in the scales? If so that'd lead me to believe the celluloid is starting to break down (cell rot) not good for a blade.
