Thanked: 0What kind of razor is this?
Hello,
I want to ask about one razor with changeable blades, which i found at the grandpa's basement. There is no special story behind it. My grandpa said to me that he don't know from when this tool is there and probably it belonged to his father- my great grandpa. Do you know something about that kind of razor-production period or something else. Is it a straight safety razor or it has other name. The middle part, which is rotating and let the upper part to be open, is made of iron and is damaged from a rust. I cleaned it as good as i can with baking soda. There is some letters there....Jib, Jiba...or something else, it could be anything. If somebody know how to clean it and to be readable, it will will be great. Any kind of information about this razor - name, kind or else would be very helpful. Thank you in advance.

Yes, and from the looks of it, it has stropped many a blade!

Thanked: 0Yes, is old i guess. I found it in one German gun shell from 1907. Just the safety razor is missing
I will try to clean it more to see what is written on it.
