Some razors during a certain time period were sold magnetized, or named with Magnetic or Electric, as a gimmick. The magnetism can be anything from sold that way to being in a environment with a magnet near bye.
Plus or minus quality of the razor due to the fact I do not know. I have some that are and notice no difference in shave quality between them.

Indeed Magnetic, Electric, No honing, No grinding, are all gimmicks.

take a carbon steel Blade, strop it on a well used strop, the strop will have micro contamintion after many years of use with carbon steel.
The blade will become slightly magnitized,is of no concern.

Magnetized from the factory was a big deal they were normally stamped

    BUT

If you look in the workshop you will find plans that used REM to hold the razor in a special Jig for using a Dremel to polish the razor.. They were quite popular back around 07-08 so many of the razor that were restored using those Jigs carry a bit of a "Draw"

If the razor looks like it has been restored I would bet on that..

FWIW, radio shack, and other electronics or tool outfits sell demagnetizers and they are relatively cheap and easy to use.

I've demagnatized many a knife, razor, and other small object using a soldering gun. Just pass the object back and forth slowly through the gap in the tip a few times with the gun on. Leave it on until the bject is six inches or so away from the gun, let the gun cool off for a minute & repeat - works like a charm.
