My new Dovo Prima Klang has arrived!!!
It came from SRD yesterday, with the usual great honing job (and a certificate for one more free honing). I shaved with it a few minutes ago and it is GREAT. Smooth, beautiful and very easy to shave with, although it did take some getting adjusted to, given a squarer point than my others and being a little more sensitive to angle, at least it seemed to me. Bottom line: I got a great first shave and for me, that's what makes a great razor! I couldn't be happier. Have a look!

After a long break to go to graduations, visit new grandbabies, weddings, etc, I had my 2d shave with the new Dovo...DR Harris shaving cream, and about 8 passes on linen and 30 on my SRD paddle strop and I got another BBS shave. I feel like I'm learning my face better and figuring angles better. The only thing I don't like about the Prima Klang is that I find it hard to keep a grip on. It has no jimps, and seems a little slippery. I managed to work through it however.
