Thread: Puma Special and Garant Paris Razors?

Hello all,

Someone I know wants to sell me a Puma Special razor and they also had a French one by a firm called Garant, Paris.

I understand Puma is a very well-reputed firm, but I'm not familiar with Garant Paris. There are no nicks or problems with the blades.

Here's a picture:

I have a frameback Garant , Paris and it is a very high quality razor. The one I have dates from the 1800s.

Both seem to have more wear in the mid section (hone line) of the spine... And the Garant may even have a slight frown?

Anyway, depending on price, of course - I would be inclined to buy both.

Maybe you should tell us what's the asking price on each

Thanks for the replies.

He wants $40 for both, and apparently there is also an old lockable leather case that comes with them. I think they were probably kept as a set.

Also as far as I know, the scales have no problems.

Don't pass those up!

Great price. Unless you have too many other razors (and some would argue this is an impossibility) - I suggest you jump on them
