    Hi, and welcome to SRP!

Many, many congratulations on being able to use your Grandfathers' razors. Many of us, including myself, are very envious of those who are able to do so. So please look after them well!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Welcome and I too wish I had some of those items from the "men of the past". I'm sure I had access to them when I was a boy playing in the junk drawers and closets but I had no idea of what to look for. I do remember one time when my Dad's mother let me rummage thru some old storage boxes/trunks in the attic but I was only about 11 then.

Oh well, it will be my job to set my items aside for my son and the grandsons.

Hey mate, welcome and what a buzz using an heirloom. I wish I had some family history to shave with but alas it is not to be. Scout around you will get some great tips on razor care and general shave info.
