There is currently a very nice looking "Red Imp" wedge by Case listed on the BAY for less than "Two Jackson's" incl. shipping> I would check it out if I were you...

Although no one here can vouch for 'that particular razor'....I own many several Wostenholm's and they are all superb shavers, as are most Sheffield blades once properly honed.

That Wostenholm looks nice, but it isn't shave ready. You'd need to send it out to get honed.

Which style of "wedge" are you referring to? Old Sheffield cleaver style? or more modern Adoration Ax / Red Imp 132 style?

If you are looking for something to just try and don't care about looks Whipped Dog has sight half seen deals. That is where my first wedge came from. In fact if you don't mind less attractive razors you could have mine
