    Goins' says that Struth and Clutto was in operation circa 1921-22 in Chicago. Victor E. Clutto was president of the firm which specialized in razors. Since this is the first one I have ever seen and there is next to nothing to be found of them on the web, you have to wonder just how specialized they were.

    Made in germany.

    Like many hardware store, barbers supply companies this razor is definately made in Germany for Macon shear co, nevertheless a good quality Solingen razor for sure.

    And some history about the Macon Shear Co.
