Yes, thanks. I knew the Koeller and Schmitz part. All the markings fit ie the Fox symbol on the back of the tang.
I see a 43 inscribed on the picture side of the tang and was curious as to the etching, that's how I found the reference my prior post. Are you saying that the reference to Mikado in my reference link is a red herring?

Razor makers
As I've written, trademark "Mikado" was used by E.F. Grell, by Jonh Watts from Sheffield, and as you can see by Koeller and Schmitz. Possibly, by some other companies too. But your razor has the Koeller and Schmitz mark.
