would have bought it just for the box then glue soem leather on it for a travel strop & box with a bonus razor to play with

Having had quite a few Kastor Bros. razors go across the hones and the face I would have been on it like white on rice

I'd have bought it. I might be pretty new to straight razors, but that one doesn't look too far gone. Bit of spit and elbow grease I think you could get it to shine like a new penny at least.

I'm in the would have bought it camp, like the box.

I still may in the near future. The antique store is huge and for some odd reason the straights don't seem to sell there. And I may or may not have put a couple other items in front of it...

I find that putting them inside a vase usually works for about a week!
