Thread: Tested XX (Case??) with Leather Covered tang?

Hi all. First post for me. I have a few straights and am curious about one in particular. I think it is a Case based on what I have learned on this forum because of the lack of markings except for the etched TestedXX on the blade. There may be more markings but they may be hidden by what appears to be a leather covered tang which I have never seen before. I have posted a pic. Can anyone tell me anything about what I see as a very unique straight razor?
