    Default What the heck

UUGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH I think that might have maded it worse. Last night I used some brasso, coated the blade and used light circular motions with the non-scratch pads, the same kind to be used on teflon pans. After I was done, and rinsed it off, more of them showed up almost immediately . Sooooo, later, I just used brasso and 100% cotton cloth, along with a light touch, and that seemed to help. Just for extra measure, I left the razor out for about an hour, then stropped it for a few laps before putting an ever so light coat of mineral oil on it. I will check it later to see if that worked.

It has got to be something with the water, but it's not as if though I can change the water I use here on the camp.

    Jimmy,

Since you're military, Militec-1 will send you a free supply: http://www.militec-1.com/free_supply.html. If the mineral oil doesn't work, maybe this stuff will for your environment.

Also, here is a link for the Marine Tuf-Cloth. I used this in Okinawa with good results.

Is there any idea whether on not the Militec of Tuf-cloth with interfere with the strop or stropping action?
