    Default R.H. Hegener, Reliance

    Im looking for a halfway decent razor to start shaving, and was offered one of these.
    I dont know to much about the one i was offered yet, but if i could get a good baseline value estimate on them so i know what to offer.
    I dont want to get ripped off, but i dont want to rip her off either.

    one side of the blade is stamped with
    R.H. Hegener, Minneapolis Mn
    Made in Germany

    the other with,
    Reliance

    I hope to get ahold of a good razor right quick. Im a very impatient person :P

    (Tried google, but cant make heads nor tails of all the various different tidbits of info )

    Welcome to SRP, R. H. Hegener was a barbers supply type business in Minneapolis, they didnt manufacture the razor in question it was made for them in Germany, a very common practice around the turn of the century.

    We dont evaluate razor on SRP, but to give a good advise on the razor you really need pictures because its all about condition.

    I got a henckels marked like this today.

    I revived an old thread to say that this saved me much more research about this company!
