This one's got me scratching my head
Been trying to do a little research on this razor and my head is spinning. The tang is marked W Clauberg with a number 2 and a picture of a curved pipe ala Wostenholm, the back side of the tang is marked Anton Wingen Jr Solingen Germany, the scales are marked Beau Brummel with a circle enclosing the outline of a man's head in a top hat, which I have read is a Bresduck razor. What gives? Can anyone shed some light on this one?
I'll try to get a pic up.

Thanked: 634Look on Strazors.com. It gives a very brief history of Anton Winger which mentions W. Clauberg which was taken over by Winger in 1920. The logo of the incircled mans head is the logo of Winger. I think it is an outline and not a perfect circle. They also made red point razors. As far as Beau Brummel I think their logo was 2 men in top hats facing each other. Its all on the site.

Thank you that clears things up a bit. The only thing is it says Beau Brummel on the scales. Perhaps he used the Beau Brummel name as well? Edited to add. The logo is a circle not the outline like on the Strazors page. I took some pics with my phone but the logo on the scales is worn and it's really hard to see in the pic.
I was hoping i had an obscure link to the bresduck line.
Here's a pic of the scales I found one online - the blade is different on mine.
Tang - again not mine

I think it's a rescale... but that's just my opinion.
