Thanked: 1Todays antique store buy... Pic heavy.
Hey all, just bought 3 straights from an antique store. This guy had a bunch
Here are the ones I picked up.
First I picked up a EMDE Bros with a nice box for $30, the tang could use a good clean up.
Next I bought a Wade And Butcher with "DiamondEdge" engraved in the blade for $35, as you can see the scales are shot. I am looking forward to working on this one. What scales would you guys go with for replacement?

Thanked: 4Nice find. I like the idea of the strop/travel case for the SR. Might make something like that over the festive period

Congratulations on the nice scores.
On learning to hone on that simons judging from the spine it once had a nice smile. Restoring that smile is a good bit of work. Fortunately you don't have to restore the smile but it would be a better shaver with a smile. However you choose to move forward it will teach you something.
