    Default Scored this Frederick Reynolds

    Got it today, cleaned it up a little, and now to show it off.

    From what I gathered on age, its pre 1891 since it does not have the country stamp on it. Any other good indicators to narrow it down?

    It measures, 6/8 and its pretty sharp, shouldn't take to much.

    Nice score! She looks like a keeper! FRs are some very fine, top quality Sheffield razors. Some can be a real pain to hone but once you get them there they hold an edge for a good while. I have seven, one is a Faux Frameback, and enjoy the shave from each very much.

    I'm not sure what dates they were manufactured as the only info I have is from the following links;
    Straight Razor Manufacturers and Dates of Operation
    Information Links

    Get her honed by a pro and she'll serve you will.

    Yeah, I shoot some trap/skeet. When I was around 17/18 I worked at a trap range. I never got over hearing "Pull!" 1000's of times per day. Mainly a waterfowl hunter now. How about yourself, Shoot often?
