    Default Blue Color on Old Scales?

    This my be a really dumb question, but I've seen some vintage razors with what appears to be blue coloring on the scales, near the metal bolsters. Is this some form of oxidation? Is it easily removable? Does it hurt the "value" of the razor? Thanks in advance.

    Most likly Verdigris from plated copper Bolsters
