Thread: Does anyone make this razor?

Does anyone make a razor that has the shorter blade and non-folding handle of a kamisori, but the double sided grind of a western razor?

I have no affilaition or experiance with the following, but a quick google for "custom kamasori" suggests they may have what you are looking for (come to think of it, so would most any other custom maker listed on this site).

Look for a Geo W Korn "The Real" razor if you want something cheaper.

Robert Williams (papabear here) makes a western grind kami-like razor called "The Purist". Pics here: 7/8 Robert Williams "Purist" w/brush finish - cocobolo stand : Shaving Shop - luxury classic wet shaving products - straight razors though I'd contact him directly if I were you.

oooooohhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(UKRob) has one for sale right now that is made from a old razor.
about 5-6 times cheaper then a custom made :P

Maximilian has made them, as well as Brian Brown, too

That doesn't include the multitudes of them made by us Restores from broken razors
