    Default Did I just get ripped off on this Dubl Duck?

    I won one on the bay a day ago or so!
    Looking at these photos made me wonder if I got a real Satin baby or a Satin edge. I believe the Satin Baby is just a small Satinedge (scales or blade?). The blade says Satinbaby BUT the scales say Satinedge?? Maybe someone swapped the scales? I have seen a few Satin babys online and none look like this. Maybe I didn't get duped and got a very rare one

    I found this online. A satin baby with different scales. Maybe a stainless version.

    Like Glenn said, that second link shows a set of dd 'stainless' scales on whatever kind of blade it is. IIRC the dd stainless would have had stainless on the blade etch and the scales. Not sure about satin baby, but like G said, go to the dd thread in the razor clubs sub forum ..... 'those daffy ducks' IIRC.

    I see it now. It looks like a good blade, whether the scales are original or not. IOW, it should be a good shaver once honed up. Therefore, not a total loss. Could be worse.

    True. I guess Satin baby is a kind of Satinedge so it does make sense. Its not like it said Goldenedge or Wonderedge
