    Default Anyone Know The Brand?

Hello I posted on here that I just purchased my first SR and I was wondering if anyone knows the brand, I have tried looking it up but can't seem to find any information on it I was just curious about it Barber Supply Company it says one side is marked gun metal and the other says Barber Supply Co made in Germany. I was just wondering if anyone knew more about the brand? It looks great though

A picture is sometimes very helpful for seeing something others might miss (grind, shape of the tang, toe, scales, etc. When you get the chance of course...

Boy, if that was walking down the street I'd whistle at it! Very nice.

Well Red Imp sure comes to mind but that would be marked as such. A fairly classic shape. Manah or a few of the other good researchers might know. They'll be along soon Im sure.

Your razor was made in Germany for resale by a barber supply company. These razors were inexpensive and made with the retailer's name stamped on the tang. Because of the low price many smaller businesses could sell a personalized line of razors. Hundreds of hardware stores, barber/beauty supply houses, cutlery shops, etc., sold these razors which were made by anonymous German manufacturers. They are generally good, serviceable razors, but not "top of the line".
