    Default LPS 2®Heavy-Duty Lubricant

    Anyone else?
I have been using this LPS 2®Heavy-Duty Lubricant --> http://www.lpslabs.com/product-details/561

It is a clean oil we use at work to prevent rust (I also use to clean some of our machines that use oil for coolant)

    thoughts/concerns?

I use it on the oleo strut (hard chromed surface) on my cessna to clean and lube at pre-flight. As a petroleum product, I would exercise extreme caution around plastics. You never know what the long term effects of exposure will be. Also like any other petroleum product it leaves an oily film that will catch and hold dust/dirt that in turn will hold moisture next to your steel.

Having said that, I think it is the lube that WD-40 would like to be! Especially in marine environments.
