    Question ARKANSAS RATTLER

I have recently found myself to be the owner of a razor with the wording "Arkansas Rattler" etched on one side, along with "made expressly for simmons hardware" at the base. the alternate side of the base is marked "made in germany". I also have a box, black, with no distinctive markings. only a handwritten "5/8" and "senator" on the inside of the box. this razor is belived to be my grandfather's grandfather's razor, and he passed away in the late 1930s. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sounds very cool.

Simmons razors are pretty popular around here (Simmons Hardware was not too far from me in its day). Heirlooms are very very cool. Mine are priceless to me...not everyone is lucky enough to get a family heirloom.

    That said, we need pictures
