Thanked: 3The Sickness Takes Hold
So I started with a whipped dog razor and poor man's strop kit.... Weeks later, I've purchased a whipped dog silvertip, which I anxiously await to arrive so I can shave my beard and go back to a goatee despite spending months perfecting my beard. Already, I'm itching to order a Tony Miller strop and a second, new, Ralf Aust razor.... So it begins.

MrWiggly, where you have to watch out for is when you start addicting to acquiring shaving objects that you will never use but are just to "neat" to pass up. I am a sufferer of said addiction and the only known cure is total isolation from the world for 60 days (like that's going to happen.)

Thanked: 5I choose not to think of it as an illness or disorder. I prefer to think of it as a preference for the aquirement of fine impliments of the tonsorial arts.

Could be worse folks....I have a variation in this world of SR, knives and handguns. If I see a deal ( or sometimes not), I can't pass it up. There is no cure.
