Straight Razor Designs
Ok so I keep getting referred to shop at straight razor designs but they have no straight razors in stock. This disappoints me greatly. I may not know everything but i know that is a horrible way to run a business and as a possible new customers speaks horrible of the company.
Does any body know whats going on?

Thanked: 284Ralf Aust 5/8 are in stock. That's a great razor, from personal experience.
I think if you look around selection of in stock razors are limited at other sites too, especially if they are offered already honed by a pro with a cert for another free honing.
Great service + pro honing + another honing + reasonable prices = low stock.

First thing, welcome to the forum.
First tip, the forum is not a place to talk about the business or the store. If you have any questions re: above, email directly to the store, they'd be happy to answer your questions.
Second, right now, there is a worldwide shortage of razors, seriously, production is way behind, and all suppliers are having trouble getting stock, and when it does come in, it's literally gone in hours or days. If you check out the major sites that sell straights, most have few, if any, due to this production shortage.
Lynn Abrams is the owner of SRD's, and you'd be best to contact him directly, via email or personal message.
Hope this helps and welcome to the forum!

I actually do disagree with this not being the place to discuss it. I have had 4 different members tell me to purchase through them. And with that and advertisements constantly on the site I think this would be the perfect place to figure out whats going on.
If this is a normal issue than I can accept it. And if I didnt ask I wouldnt have known.

Thanked: 1936We cannot answer any questions for Straight Razor Designs, just like I cannot answer a question addressed to you.
Please call them up and you will get your answers. We recommend these guys simply because they don't sell junk, they stand behind their stuff 100%, and the founder of this site owns it.
This is a gentleman's site too, we don't vendor bash here.Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.

Word to the wise. If you start bashing SRD here (or other vendors) odds are you will get the ban hammer pretty quickly. Just saying...

There was no vendor bashing done here. Voicing my disappointment with something that involves straight razors/soaps/or wet shaving etc. is far from bashing. I didnt say anything derogatory about the company or its owner. If people on on here are really that sensitive its a shame. From what I always read on wet shaving sites that its how a true man should shave, me having an opinion or gripe that you dont agree with shouldn't be too much for a man to handle. A banning for something like this would be an pathetic reaction to something like this. Men should be able to have a discussion about something simple like this without hurt feelings or fear of getting banned.

Thanked: 1936I apologize if I have offended you, this was not my intent. My only intent was to get you to contact the vendor directly. Mark my word, you will be pleased once you do...dial them up and all your answers will be answered.
