Default Can anyone tell me what kind of razors these are?

A friend of mine gave these to me, but I don't know much about knives. These are kind of crappy pictures, but if anyone can tell me what kind of knives these are, that would great.

The first one is kind of old, I know. Can it be salvaged?

hard to tell who made these straight razors from the pics. Add what you can see for us. What is stamped into the tang on both sides and written on the scales. The one big blade looks like a nice razor needing little work and a pro hone to get it going. The other needs a little more work but might be just as nice of a shaver if you get it cleaned up. You can look in the workshop section for all kinds of info on how to restore them or find a vendor in the classifieds to do it for you.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Look at the tang, blade and scales for any engravings or stamps. That should give you a clue about who the manufacturers were, and then from there, people on SRP will most likely be able to estimate the age/ quality of them.
