I was wondering of any of you folks knew about this company and the quality of their blades?

They were an importer in the 1840's-1860's.

Their blades are as good as anything from a major producer in the era, largely because they were most likely made by one of the big firms. There's no way at all, short of finding company paperwork, to know *who* made the blades for them.

Short version: quality goods. For whatever reason, most of the E.L. & Co. razors I've seen have had Masonic etches on the blade. The one currently on eBay does, too.
