Thanked: 1184Geezer gave you a good link. I favor the square points myself and I like them really pointy sharp. What I can't do with a round point is detail up under the handle bars. What ever you decide on you will get used to it,it is just a matter of getting used to handling it without hurting your face.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Square points are the way to go to get the detail work done.

Thanked: 0The Spanish Points appear to be fairly rounded off on the leading tip anyway. At least, judging by the photos on SRD.
I asked for a 6/8 for my stocking from the wife.
Oh and btw, hello folks! I'm a n00b!

I'm about ready to buy one of the RA's myself. I've been SR shaving for almost 2 months and looking for a another new razor. My first SR is a Boker 5/8 Edelweiss which I love. I purchased a DD Special #1 with a square point and and a Boker Red Injun 101 (another square point). I would suggest the round point...the square point have definitely drawn more blood than my Edelweiss!! Good luck!
