    Default Solingen Razor Co, Germany?

So I searched the site and found a thread from a few years ago where a guy was asking if anyone knew anything about this company/razor (marked only Solingen Razor Co Germany), but nobody seemed to be familiar with it and the thread kinda died. I just picked up an old one in acceptable condition online for 14 bucks and am curious as to what it is. Seller claimed it to be from the 20's, but I take such claims with a grain of salt so who knows... Basically I'm wondering if it is an actual Solingen company or not. Any info is appreciated.

Welcome to SRP, Didnt really find any information on the company, but that said the stamp on the tang and the other razors i came across online do tell a story about your razor.

The razor was made in Solingen Germany and area with a very high reputation for high quality cutlery, the dating from the seller seems to be right on par give or take a few, there is no doubt in my mind that Solingen razor Co was an actual German manufacturer. Given that the razor is in good condition im sure it will turn out to be a good shaver.

Thank you for the info! It is a fantastic shaver! Was in pretty much like-new condition except for the scales, so it likely hadn't been used much. Blade was keen to begin with but is scary sharp after having it honed.
